I'm looking for a Carter 2241S fuel pump for my 55 Desoto. New or nice rebuildable core. I believe 53 and 54 Desoto 8-cyl models used the same pump.

Thanks,

Ron

eBay Malaysia?

That's the magic of google. Mt Clements MI is a guy used to be '56 model coordinator. I can't remember his name.

Hmmm.... I wonder who that is. Henry Clemens continues to be one of the 2 tech co-ordinators.

Yes. That looks like it. But to confirm, please check the number stamped on the edge near the lever. See picture attached.

The pumps in the links that are claimed to be correct aren't Carter pumps. They're Airtex, which were packaged in Mopar boxes in the 60s, according to a reliable source. I need the original Carter, as mentioned.

Hey Ron: I was looking for something completely different today and came upon this.

Send me an e mail smcmanus99@windstream.net if you want it.

Have a nice day

Steve's pump above is a bit pricey for a rebuildable core.

So I'm still looking...

Pricey? $100 shipping included. Less than any others I've seen.

Have a nice day
