Looks good, was it cracked much prior to refurbishment? If so how much did it need filled?
It had a couple crascks at the top of the rim which I ground out in about a 1/2 inch vee and filled. also had a crack and small separation at the hub which I ground out and filled. I use white marine-tex epoxy cause it holds like steel and can be worked while tacky. finished with catalyzed primer and acryllic enamel. It's a labor of love.
when I finished it I made a rubber mold and I've cast another which is red and white. The little finger grooves are a bitch. dave
Mine is pretty badly split all around. It's got a custom leather cover in the same white and black. What I have noticed is that the white seems to be the worst color a far as holding up. I've seen lots of green and blue wheels on Firedomes and their plastic is fine.
