Does anyone know to whom this car belongs? It was sighted by a friend of mine in Charleston SC. It looks real nice and I believe it is a 49. Is the 49 correct? I am basing the year on the hood emblem which had shown up on ebay and posted yesterday on the NDC site.

The car pictured is a 49 model as determined by the hood ornament as well as the stand up tail lights. There is no one listed in the NDC roster from this area of SC with a 49 DeSoto. Maybe Dean Mullinax knows of this car as he lives in this area. Mac

Thank you Mac. That is interesting since it makes one wonder how many other "unknown" DeSotos are running around.
