The Craigslist ad simply stated that it was complete, the engine turned over but didn't run, and that it needed restoration. I wanted to know what kind of condition it was in so called Billy, the seller. The condition is pretty low but so is the price.
It's way beyond my skills and budget but maybe someone here would be interested. Suburbans are pretty cool. Billy seemed like a nice guy and his Ebay listing shows the bad parts pretty well. Seems fairly honest and upfront. He said he buys crap out of barns and estate sales, which is where this car was (barn), and sells it on Ebay. Craigslist had a listed price of $1600. Auction looks like it's no reserve, though, so you can try your luck with that or he said he'd still sell direct if preferred.
