I am trying to replace the incorrect carb with the correct one on my Airflow. The correct carb came minus the linkages and it appears the later model incorrect carb linkages won't work.
Can someone post pictures of the correct carb?
Thanks
Steve
Hi Steve -- my S2 has an incorrect carb also, but for what it's worth, here are some photos of the linkage. Sorry for the high contrast with the sunlight. I expect to see Jim Lightfoot's S2 this weekend and I will try to get better photos of it.
In photo 4071 you can see the lever that opens and closes the throttle. The upper part of the lever with the pinch bolt is not used on my car. I found a correct E6G1 carb for my car (not installed yet), and it does not have this upper arm on the lever.
Hope you can make sense of these photos, and I will try to get you some better ones.

Thanks John!
If you get the chance take a pic of the carb itself. I have the stuff up to the carb, it is the stuff starting with the throttle bellcrank and up that I'm missing.
Appreciate the help.
Steve

Jim Lightfoot's S2 Coupe. I believe this is the correct carburetor for S2s and as far as I can determine, the linkage is correct also.

Thanks John:
I adapted another bellcrank to the throttle, but I'm going to use a manual choke until I can find the right goodies to attach the automatic choke.
Have a nice day
