Hello,

I have question about Steering Wheel on my DeSoto, I am looking at replacing the Standard with a Banjo type, from pictures they all look the same, is there a difference between Airflow and AirStream models, is the Chrysler Airflow the same as the DeSoto Airstream ? I see there is a difference in the part #.

Thanks
Dana

I've read that the Chrysler Airflow wheel is one inch bigger and has different splines from the DeSoto Airflow. Recommend you check that Airflow and Airstream wheel part numbers are the same to apply this information to your car if it's an Airstream. On my '36 S2 Airflow, the wheel comes pretty close to my lap. I'm glad it's not larger.
