There's a car originally from California, now in Indiana, that would be a nice project for someone here. It's been sitting a long time, but before being "retired", the transmission was rebuilt, and lots of parts were gathered. It needs a complete re-do, but should be a relatively easy restoration. I think it needs a floor and has some of the standard issues. Has a 7-button radio, twin antennas on the fins, and the original aluminum keys. I'll post some pictures. Collector Car Market Review says a #4 car is worth $9800. Seller has not decided on an asking price because he's trying to figure out what the value is with all the extra parts. In any case, if you are interested, YOU HAVE UNTIL JULY 20th to email ME at desoto@pathway.net
I have nothing to do with this car and don't know it personally, but told the seller I'd collect names of interested potential buyers and forward them to him on that date. Ed Petrus
Where in Indiana is this car? Some of us will be going through Indiana (or are already in Indiana) on our way to our convention, and could possibly stop by for a closer look.

Interesting car and all but the value seems a bit skewed to me for what still must be done to make it usable....
Bill, it's on the east side of Indianapolis, at the family business. I don't want to send the whole world there, but anyone seriously interested should contact me directly at desoto@pathway.net and I'll give him/her the seller's details.
That's not a #4.... can't very well drive it without an engine in it...
There IS an engine with the car, but it's not IN the car.
