I looked at this car prior to purchasing our Firesweep. It's a great car; it runs and has wonderful spoked wheels. It will need new tires; the spare is in the trunk. It didn't need much TLC to get it into shape, but it was more than we could do with no tools, no working space...and no talent. :P All of the papers and receipts related to the car and its service history were in the trunk. All of the parts were in place. It seemed to have it's original interior, with a little staining on the head liner. As far as I know, this car is still for sale.

Anyway, I though someone might be able to give it a good home. The fine, elderly gentleman who owns it now is a car collector and he has a small museum full of absolutely wonderfully preserved cars, some in pristine, original condition. He was very honest about the car's history and condition.

If anyone is interested, I'd suggest they contact Mr. Bill Swope himself, the owner of the car museum, as he makes the decisions regarding the cars in his collection. Elizabethtown (yes, the town from the movie of the same name 8) ) is less than one hour south of Louisville, Kentucky.
