Nice original 1954 Desoto Firedome with 85,250 original miles
$9,500 obo
I am the third owner of this un-restored Desoto that was an original California car.  Car was manufactured in Los Angeles.  This Desoto runs and drives great.  It has the original hemi V/8 and automatic transmission. It also has power brakes, power steering and the rare option power windows.
- A complete new wiring harness for the engine compartment and under dash.
- NOS starter relay
- Rebuilt Starter
- New starter switch
- NOS carburetor that is correct for this model car and came in the original box.
- New voltage regulator
- New plugs and plug wires
- Rebuilt Generator
- Rebuilt Starter
- New Brake Booster
- Tires are radial Coker Classic wide whitewalls that are about 8 years old and have only around 3,000 miles on them.  Rubber is still good.
- Brakes have been restored with new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder and turned drums.
- All accessories and gauges work such as radio, horn, wipers, and power windows.

I saw this car and met the owner and his Dad at the Scottsdale Pavilions weekly car show one Sat about 2 years ago. I tried to get Harry to meet me again but there was no response. The car was a nice stock 54. It is probably as is stated. I am sad to see Harry is parting with it. I was thinking of contacting him again to see if he could head up to Reno. Oh well.
