Hello!
Here a picture from my transmission oil pump.( it`s not inches ,is mm).A snapring goes into the pump and make a lot of scratches.This parts i need new (or used).In Germany I have no chance to find the parts.

Olaf, I am not real familiar with what you have but I would be getting a few questions answered.
1) Do you know if the 50's trans is the same as the 51? If not someone here probably does.
2) What does Pat Henderson (on this site) have? Can the oil pump be separated from the trans and will he do it? What does he want for the trans of unknown condition? Maybe to save shipping he will take the cost of the trans and send the pump only unless of course you want the whole thing? Keep in mind the cars were towed to his site.
3) How reliable and durable are the oil pumps for these transmissions? Maybe someone here can answer this.
4) I have access to salvage yards but really need to know what to get. Good luck. Hopefully we can get your car running.
