It's a long story, but I've become the owner of a 1950 8-passenger DeSoto 6 Custom LWB (photo attached) with Fluid Drive. All original except for an after-market under-dash air conditioner that could easily be removed. Runs fairly well, although the transmission clunks when upshifting; rocker panel rust but otherwise solid body; interior worn but functional. Badly in need of some TLC. Rare car -- one of only 1350 Custom LWBs built. $8.000.00
