A good radiator shop can rebuild your old one

If you mention where you are, just maybe another has one for you.

I just had one done by a shop here in Northern California last week. This shop makes all the cores for all the shops in Northern California. They are a cash and carry outfit as they are mostly a supplier. If one carries in a unit, they will make you a new one. If you have trouble locally, let me know. You can ship it to me and I will make the hour drive out to them with your core.

They did the radiator on my '47 Suburban and a friends 1937 Cad 4 door sedan CV. Both cars run fine with their work in them. The '47 stayed cool at the Reno meet in 100+ temps.

Mine is missing. Do you know if they have one to use as a template?

If not, I need to find one

Do you have their phone number?

What is The Model Numbers of the choices that could have been purchased for
a 1949/ 1950 Production Year De Soto ( aka Model 100 - Model 300 or Model 500 ) ?

Part two of this is which is a correct unit for your car ???

Do you need The Heater Radiator Core or the complete unit ???

Phil

The Model 100 Heater Core has one part number for it.

The Model 300 and 500 Heater Core both share the same part number.

Please do some searching for A Heater Model Number and with The Heater Model Number some one can go the next step.

You should not need much of an heater to drive to Lake Elmo this July. It's
much warmer then.

They used my tanks and just did a new core. Len Dawson ( I think) at: http://dpmotorparts.com/

Has a NOS one. Punch in the factory part number into his system and see if he has it.
