Anyone out there with a 1949 or 1950 find a source of Hood Bumpers that fits the original hole?

I have gotten both sizes from Jeff at RSS and they are too big for the hole. The ones at Steele are also too large for the hole.

I do not want to drill the painted parts to use the larger rubber. The car uses about 25 to 30 of these. They are used on the hood sides, the hood bow, and the front lock plate.

If anyone has actually found some that fit, please let me know.

James

James,

There was a list of bumpers on the steel site with different size a bunch of them. I posted the link in one of your other threads. Did you check it out.
