does anyone have an extra radiator for a 1948 S11 that doesn't leak (I already have one of those) and is willing to part with it?
Chuck
Have you looked into having yours re-cored?
I only ask because with these old cores getting on to 60+ years old now, you may be chasing old rotten cores around and it would be less aggravating just to have yours redone.

It's supposed to be fun!

Tim, no I have not. But, that sounds like pretty good advice.

Is it important to you to have the "correct" radiator for your car? If so, you'll probably need to get yours re-cored. If not, there may be a newly ,manufactured replacement radiator available that will work and save you money.
For example, a '57 Chevy radiator is a close match for a 55/56 DeSoto and is available brand spanky new for much less than the cost to re-core.
Also there are many after market supliers for the hot rod market that may have something that will work for you.
Have a nice day

Steve,
It is not important to me to have the exact radiator for my car. How do I find out what others would work?
Chuck
There are two sellers on eBay that list aluminum radiators priced around $220 that are supposed to fit S 11's. Don't know anything about them but you may want to look into them. Good luck.
