Any help finding a 1942 DeSoto would be greatly appreciated. Any body style or condition considered but hey . . . the convertible would be fabulous!!! I can be reached at

wenlock@mail.com

or 801-368-9350

I am in Zip Code 84057 so ask your friends to keep an eye open too.

Many thanks,

Wen

Look at craigslist and go to New Mexico. There is one for sale by a wrecking yard. Click on any of them at it will bring one up in Edgewood NM for $2,800. You could deal for it but since they are a little scarce, they may not drop their price, its been listed for over three years. The place is also a good spot for others needing parts or even a whole car.

Yes, I found it. Looks like a rare beast. Are there parts out there to bring this back to life? Perhaps a more common 4 door would have more potential for restoration? Your thoughts?

If you look at the left column under Resources, you will find a listing of technical help by model year. Suggest you contact the man for 1942. He should be able to if and what may swap for model years. Other choice would be to find a parts manual that lists parts that are transferable. Good Luck
