I have a 1932 DeSoto SC 4dr Sedan that has the Automatic Clutch feature. Does anyone have any experience rebuilding one of these? I have not found any reference except in sales literature on how it works.

Larry,
This has nothing to do with rebuilding a clutch on your 32 SC 4dr.
I mentioned to you that my dad had the same car back in the 40s. I was just a wee tot back then but I remember it. Consequently I have a sentimental attachment to this car. It was a gorgeous car, and I believe it was same color as yours.
I will rebuild your wiper motors NO CHARGE to you. Since your previous pictures
showed the original shaft spacers, you may have the original switch assembly as well. That would be nice. I do have the switch mechanism for the passenger side, but not the right. (but I'm still looking)
Larry, I'm absolutely sincere about my offer to rebuild your wiper motors at
No Charge to you. Really. It would be my honor!
Here is my email: b24brang722@bendbroadband.com
Ph.541-923-4319 I live in Redmond Oregon
I hope to get some pictures of my 55 Wagon on this site soon. I would like to sell it to someone in the club if I can.
Thanks,
Kent Jaquith

High Larry,
I just sent you a message about rebuilding you wiper motors, which (As you probably realize) was an error on my part. as I intended it to go to Lynn who has his pictures of his 32 on this site, and I emailed him a week or so ago. I guess that's what happens when you get too tired and try to cram the last bit your mental capacity into the last bits of the day.
I'm basically not computer literate, and in fact hold the Guiness book of world records for being the most computer illiterate person West of the Mississippi.
Now I have to get back in contact with Lynn.
Sorry,
PS. How are your wiper motors?????????????? If they need help, I'll do it for shipping charges only. OK

Thanks,Kent

Hello Kent,
Thank you for the kind offer to rebuild my wiper motors. Mine was rebuilt about 10 years ago and kind of works like I figure most vacuum driven wipers do. My car is a good 20 footer since the lacquer has pretty much deteriorated since it was last painted back in the early 60's as far as I can tell.
Regards,
Larry
