This is a 1931 DeSoto Model SA. Does anyone know the torque setting that should be placed on the Axel nut when mounting the rear brake drums. We had an H of a time getting them off last Dec. When we remounted them we tightened the nuts too much and again made it pretty rough getting them off this week. Torqueing them properly should resolve that issue. I didn't see this information in the owners manual. Martin I expect to hear from you again.
