For those of you who like to plan ahead, and want to know the correct date (as compared to the incorrect date listed in the Buckeye Chapter's newsletter) for the next 3-D picnic, it will be on the 16th of August. And this will be the 15th Anniversary for the 3-D picnic. This mini-De Soto convention is held southeast of Cleveland, OH, next to a private pond.
The hosts, Joy and Leon Haddix and John Nosol (they're listed in our club's roster issue), would like to know if you plan to attend, especially if you plan on bringing a De Soto since they map off the parking areas for the De Sotos. Also, they ask for $10 per person to help cover the costs of the grounds and the meat, plus ask for you to bring a side dish for everyone to enjoy.
If the weather is good, then you should be in for a great time. When the weather isn't so good, you should still have a good time.

If you CAN be there, you should be. I've attended most of these picnics, and it's always a great time. No judging, just fun, and it's even OK if you don't bring a car. Beautiful private lake and picnic shelter, too!
