I just acquired a NOS in the MoPar factory cardboard box an Ammeter that will fit the 1940 Desoto. The part number is also stamped onthe outside of the box.
So when to you get the opportunity to get a Brand new old stock 1940 Desoto ammeter. Get this as a spare. If yours goes bad then you have a spare. You do not see many of these in the swap meets.
