I have recently purchased the factory Miller MT19 Brake shoes setting tool that were used to set each individual shoe for the Desoto ,Dodge, Plymouth and Chrysler car from 1937-55 that have the Lockheed brake system with the eccentric heel mounting pins.  This tool will not work on the center plane brake system.  this tool has the four sleeves that mount onto the front spindle and or rear axles.

This is the tool that was used to set the brakes shoes on the assembly line and at your local dealership. This tool is extremely hard to find and it takes the guess workout of setting the brakes shoes so you have a great braking surface.

I am asking $600 for the tool which is better than the AMMCO 1750 brake gage. The Ammco brake gage is now being listed on Ebay from 600-750.  So why not get the factory tool and do the job correctly.  If you know several DeSoto owners around you then pool your money and have join ownership of this once in a life time tool.

For more information contact rich Hartung email Desoto1939@aol.com Cell 484-431-8157  Home 610-630-9188.  I lve near Philadelphia PA near Valley Forge PA.

I have attached pictures of the tool. If you have a service manual on your car go to the brake section and you will see pictures of the tool.
