I thought Jan Hermans bought your '49! There must be two beautiful Jade Green '49 Convertibles out there!
Good luck with selling the cars. They are beautiful, and hopefully will sell quickly!

Hi Nancy, Indeed I bought in 2016 a DeSoto 1949 S13 custom convertible glade green and brought it back to Holland where I drive it daily if the wheather allows it. Here I have also won a few first prices with it. Quite often women say to me; I don't like cars too much, but this is of a fantastic different category. So I hope the person who has bought your car will enjoy it as much as I do (with my grand-kids, wife and children).
You can see the car and my special garage on https://youtu.be/aHCztYlKf6I
Have fun with it and
Wish you a very happy and healthy 2018
Jan,
Happy New Year!!
Thanks so much for sharing the video of your beautiful 1949 Desoto. From what I saw it looks exactly the same as the one George and I owned. I can understand why you are in love with it. You certainly have an exquisite garage.
Incidentally, I sold the 1957 Adventurer and the 1949 Custom to the same individual who lives only one hour from me and I was very happy with the sales experience.
I hope your wife continues to enjoy it with you. May both of you experience great health and fun times in your beautiful DeSoto in 2018 and the future.
