Hi all Can anyone help with fixing 42 rear tail lights and surrounds. The surrounds have no visible fixing holes and no concealed fixing.Do I have something missing or are they somehow fixed from inside the boot <trunk> DON.

Don,
The tail light housing on a '42 has two large clips that slide into the back of the housing, one on each side (total of four per car). The parts book calls these "bolt and clip assemblies". Each "clip" has a stud that goes through the two holes in the body on either side of the tail light opening, and you reach from within the trunk to tighten nuts and washers onto the studs. This is a little hard to explain, and I can send photos if you'd like. Do you have the clip/bolts for your car?
