1939 Desoto Sedan for sale

I am looking to sell my 1939 Desoto. This car has won several awards at the National Desoto conventions.

The car has been repainted with a factory green and still has the original door panels and mohair seats, It also has brown rugs in the front and rear.

The engine has been rebuilt and we have maintained the car for the past 40 years. The car has the factory radio with the four antennas under the running boards, Factory radio that works, Glovebox clock, factory correct heater and the accessory rear gravel guard that is installed between the rear bumper and the body of. The car can easily travel between 50-55 mph and that was driven to the Altoona NDC Convention and was awarded a 3rd place trophy. The car has also been judged by AACA and has been awarded an Historical Preservation of Original features.

I have lots of NOS parts that will be included with the price of the car.

The car can been seen at my home which is located near Valley Forge, PA

The vehicle is located in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. I’m not the owner; just trying to facilitate the sale for the owner’s benefit. It belonged to her late husband, who gave me a ride in it to and from a music festival in the summer of 2022, about 30 miles each way, so it ran solid then.

Her asking price is $14K, pretty sure she's ready to negotiate.

I'm not a car guy, but I'll upload some pics and my contact info and try to find answers to any questions you have.

Unfortunately I cannot enjoy my DeSoto as I should due to health issues. This is a number 1 car which rivals Rosemary’s ‘57 Firesweep that sold at Mecum’s recently for over $73K.

Will sell for $55K USD. All gages and lights work, no fluid leaks, complete rebuild of engine, transmission, suspension, and steering along with new brakes and tires. The rust free body was repainted in factory original colors of Canyon Beige and Golden Tan. Located in Hollister, MO with less than 43,000 miles.

Looks very nice. Not perfect with engine color and interior fabric but at least it's the right pattern. It appears to have had A/C but only the dash outlets look that way. Priced at $37500 or offer.
